Good Faith Estimate

CMS requires therapists and other health workers that do not take insurance to provide, what is called, a “good faith estimate.” A good faith estimate is a document showing the estimated cost of services. While I cannot predict the amount of sessions a client will need prior to seeing me, I will provide an estimation based on the average amount of sessions my clients have per month. Your total costs of services will depend on the number of session, length of session, and any other services you require during the month. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than your estimation, you are able to dispute it. For more information about good faith estimates, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
